It's been finished a week now, but over the festival period for 2025, the Scottish Gallery's main exhibition was Decades by Victoria Crowe. There is a lot of new work here but also some old (as far back as the 1960's). This show marks the artist's 80th year.

Crowe is one of my favourite artists, as you will easily find by perusing my web site. The paintings and prints here are no exception to her high quality output, with a lot of emphasis on the sky and clouds in the recent work. This is a subject dear to my heart as well and we are blessed with some high quality cloudscapes in Scotland.
